The official logline states, “The richest man on the planet, 200 of his employees, and his family are forced to flee to his private island in the wake of a global financial collapse, where the employees and family members — who he’s treated as afterthoughts for decades — quickly realize he’s no longer rich and thus no longer in charge.”

Carson previously worked with Jackman, as Carson co-wrote the screenplay for the film “The Front Runner,” in which Jackman starred as U.S. Senator Gary Hart. Carson is also the creator of Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show” and served as a supervising producer on “House of Cards” at Netflix. He also worked as press secretary for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle. Among other positions, he was the Chief Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles under Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
